sLIP RESISTANCE EVALUATION

Rogers Engineering owns and maintains both the English XL and BOT 3000e for evaluating the slip resistance.  Both slip meters are industry-recognized tools for assessing the slip resistance of a variety walking surfaces and meet the requirements of ASTM 2508 (Standard Practice for Validation, Calibration, and Certification of Walkway Tribometers Using Reference Surfaces). The BOT 3000e has been approved by the Tile Council of North America for testing tile and other hard surface flooring. The English XL provides a greater flexibility for evaluating a wider range of surfaces including stairs, asphalt surfaces, and contaminated surfaces.
